KIWI ART TRAIL

KIWI ART TRAIL

I painted a KIWI !
An awesome project I’ve been working on is the Kiwi Art Trail.  This was my first major painting project and I surprised myself with the outcome!  I’ve named my bird ‘Bird of Paradise’.  A daytime landscape is on one side, and a night time on the other … and on its behind is a surprise joyous bouquet of flowers beloved to New Zealand.  This beautiful bird will be popping up in a major city and on display from October until March, after which it will be auctioned with proceeds going towards kiwi conservation.

Did you know that the kiwi population is declining by approximately 20 per week?  Little kiwi needs our help, and I’m thrilled to be helping out with this cause, so watch this space for more updates on where my kiwi will be residing over summer!

My ‘Bird of Paradise’ kiwi is currently touring Tauranga with 19 other beauties and will be in Auckland in February .. check out where the Kiwi currently is here - KIWI ART TRAIL
